On sunday, young and i went thrifting in the mission.
Here is young looking rough n' tough in an oversized sweater.
He didnt get it. He did get some short shorts and I thought about taking a picture but didnt want to scare the 2 people who read this away.
The best find of the day was at the goodwill on mission st, which is now a goodwill outlet. All shoes and clothing are $1.99. I found my sister two pairs of Ferragamos for $1.99 each. It pays to have a gay brother.
Even after walking around the mission all day, Young successfully guilted me into going to the gym. Where i spent an hour on a bike. I still hate the gym, but i have to go 3 times this week. So at least I got the first one out of the way.

Heatwave!
So its really hot here in San Francisco. It was supposed to hit a high of 91 today, which is just too hot for you to sit in your apt and bake. So luckily I had the day off and my friend Andy, who has a car, offered to hang out. We went and sat near the ocean for a bit. It was quite beautiful and refreshing. Usually its cold and foggy. San Francisco takes on a new life in the sun.

Memories of a Phone
I lost my phone saturday. Most likely due to the 3 shots of jagger I had consumed throughout the night. I am currently using the cheapest phone I could find. It was 19.99 and although smaller than a Zack Morris phone of the 80s, it has about the same functionality. I have to wait until I get paid next week to upgrade. I think I am going to rip off my friends and get the Sony Ericisson W810i. Its not too expensive and has a lot of good features.

New to You
I was at work the other day and the song "Total Control" by The Motels came on. Its from the late 70s but totally fits into the music i have been to listening to lately. I love when you find a musical artist that you have never heard before that has a whole back catalog of stuff to explore, instead of a new group with just their first album out. The only downside is that you really cant expect anything new.
In terms of more current artists I have been listening to Of Montreal, The Gossip, Menomena, Lily Allen, Mika, and the lovely mess Amy Winehouse. I can just imagine her stumbling around the Mission with her weave about to fall out. If you havent seen it yet, you have to watch this video of her on the Charlotte Church show. She is so hammered/coked up she cant remember the words.
